WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?
The registration fee includes:

Lodging is NOT included in the registration cost. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations. We recommend that you book early at one of our preferred hotels, as Ocean Grove has limited availability.
WHAT IS THE VIBE FOR THE RETREAT? HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
We aim to provide a relaxed, informal, and intimate environment for retreat attendees and encourage you to come dressed comfortably. In addition to refreshing sessions during the day, you will be able to walk the boardwalk in idyllic Ocean Grove, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or stroll down main street for some evening eats and conversation with other attendees, so bring attire options that allow you to be comfortable in those settings. It will be mid-Spring, so also consider bringing a light jacket and a small umbrella.
DO I HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO ATTEND THIS RETREAT?
No. We welcome participants from all faith traditions or no faith tradition at all. That said, the retreat's content will reflect a Christian worldview in some of its themes and recommended practices. No matter your faith background, the retreat shares the same goal for all participants: to ensure you have a safe and nonjudgmental space to process your relationship with your mother and leave with clinically sound tools to navigate it better.
WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR THIS RETREAT?
No. While the retreat will feature clinically based therapeutic practices and many of the speakers will be licensed therapists, you will not be able to bill your insurance for this retreat.

If you choose to work 1-on-1 with Ruth's Place Counseling Services (RPCS) or participate in one of the therapy groups that will be offered after the retreat, those may be covered by your insurance. Set up a 15-minute consultation with the RPCS to learn more about individual or group therapy and checking your insurance coverage.
CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET FOR ONLY ONE OF THE TWO DAYS?
Unfortunately, no. We have designed the retreat to be a comprehensive and connected experience in which each session builds on a previous one and where your connection with other retreat attendees is as important as your personal reflection and interaction with session speakers. To achieve this, we are asking retreat attendees to plan to be with us for both days.

Plus, Ocean Grove's scenic surroundings are sure to provide you with a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You deserve some time away!

Please make plans to join us by 8:30 AM on the first day of the retreat (Breakfast will be available). Depending on where you are traveling from, you may choose to begin your hotel reservation on the Thursday before the retreat begins. Contact one of our preferred hotels​ to choose the dates that are best for you.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
You can make payment arrangements by credit or debit card. Payment options include:

Single Pay: You can make a single payment by navigating to the event details page of the retreat you are interested in attending.

Payment Plan: You can set up a 3-pay or 2-pay plan to make automatic deductions from your debit or credit card.

Group Rate: Are you attending with a group of 5 or more? You may be able to take advantage of our group rate. Please contact our event coordinator, Jasmine, at info@uniquelymadeevents.com for more information.

WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND TRANSFER POLICIES?
We have limited cancellation, refund, and transfer options available based on when you request them and the payment method you use (payment plan versus single pay options).
