Founder and Clinical Director | Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hello! I am so excited that you are interested in learning more about therapy and how it can help you, your child, or your family learn new skills, deepen your relationship(s), and achieve your goals. Finding the right therapist is an important first step along that journey. So, please scroll down to learn more about me and how I approach therapy.
Specialties: Individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, parental trauma, and families in conflict. I specialize in using clinical practices that integrate a client's spiritual/religious beliefs into therapy, if desired.
My Background
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from Monmouth University. I have twelve years of experience treating individuals and families in crisis. Over the years, I have worked in various community clinical settings providing counseling, psycho-education, and case management to children and adults. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and parental trauma. I also work with families in conflict. My goal as a therapist is to ensure every session is a safe space where clients feel comfortable to share their thoughts and feelings freely because it creates the optimal environment to learn various skills and tools to improve their situation. Using research-based therapeutic methods and, when appropriate and desired, incorporating each person's or family's sense of spirituality or culture, I have successfully helped clients gain more peace, calmness, confidence, and connectedness in their lives. I would love the opportunity to work with you or your family to help you learn the tools to live your best life now.
