My Background
I am a licensed social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. I have over 8 years of experience working with children, youth, caregivers, and the professionals that support them. I am skilled at building a strong rapport with reluctant clients and creating a safe space where we can work together to determine their mental health needs and co-create a plan that helps them take on healthier behaviors and develop richer relationships. I am passionate about utilizing a strengths-based approach that affirms that every client has assets that they can build upon to help them reach their therapeutic goals. I specialize in supporting clients navigating behavioral problems, family conflict, social challenges, anxiety, and life transitions. I would love the opportunity to work with you, your child, or your family to provide a space where you will feel heard and learn tools that will help you minimize risky behaviors, manage behavioral issues better, and develop richer relationships.
